# Investors

Who invests in Qiro vaults, what they do, and what they rely on.

Investors are stablecoin holders who deposit into a Qiro vault to earn private credit yield. Access is limited to verified institutional and accredited investors.

**What they do:**

* Deposit stablecoins into a vault and receive vault shares
* Earn yield as deployed capital accrues interest from borrowers
* Submit redemption requests when they want to exit; receive stablecoins back after the FIFO queue is serviced

**What they rely on others for:**

* **Underwriting**: every borrower clears Qiro's credit process before capital is committed.
* **Allocation and monitoring**: the vault's [Risk Curator](/qiro-vaults/stakeholders/risk-curator.md) decides which approved borrowers are funded and tracks them after deployment.
* **Servicing**: the redemption queue is processed by an operator as deployed capital is recycled.

**What they need to qualify:**

Access requires KYC/KYB verification and accredited or institutional status. Minimums are set per vault.
